Dr who filming news,Xmas special, series 6 rumours, confirmed writers and past doctors

While series 5 is over we can look forward to in a couple of weeks some filming pictures and videos (hopefully) from Dr who filming Christmas special and series 6.

filming starts July 12-16 in Swansea. The episode is written by Steven Moffat and will feature both a former cast member of British soap EastEnders and a Hollywood actor. There are also rumors of a big, big name playing a massive role, which likely describes one of those two other people. Silence, the major story arc of series 6, is mentioned at least once in the special, and we hear again from the voice first heard in the TARDIS during 513 The Pandorica Opens - apparently this voice still has some control of the TARDIS!

apparently Christmas special was going to be set in 1500s England, possibly involving Henry VIII. but the lines about the Egyptian goddess and the Orient Express in space at the end of513 The Big Bang were an absolute last minute addition ( i so want a story on the orient express so now I'm not so happy ).

theirs rumours that Christmas will be like a carol its been rumored since the runaway bride with possible appearance by a past Doctor as the Ghost of Christmas Past Those Doctors under consideration for this are supposedly Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, andDavid Tennant, (now that got exciting)

i do hope their is other doctors in the Christmas special but lets hope that they do an 8 doctors story in 3 year time for the 50The anniversary

so series 6 will see Rory and Amy remain with the doctor and Amy will have a big secret to tell River Song is definitely back, but with a big difference when we see her in series 6, it'll be the first time she meets the Doctor. (personally i cannot wait for series 6 as its getting better and also i want to know who the baddie is )

confirmed writers for next year are Steven Moffat, Neil Gaiman, Paul Cornell, Tom MacRae, Phil Ford, and RobShearman.

some of these may not be true
