No more The Sarah Jane Adventures

After the sad death of Elizabeth Sladen a few weeks ago it's been on everybody's minds Will The Sarah Jane Adventures return? Well today the BBC has confirmed that there are no plans to film further episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures.

"Contrary to press reports today we can confirm that no new episodes of The Sarah Jane Adventures will be filmed following the tragic death of actress Elisabeth Sladen in April, 2011. As a tribute to Elisabeth the six episodes that were recorded with her last year will be broadcast on CBBC at a date to be confirmed."

The BBC Have announced that they are doing a 15 minute tribute programme For Elizabeth Sladen which will air after Dr who at 6,45 on CBBC.

BBC planning tribute

The BBC are according to digital spy planning a tribute to Lizabeth Sladen at the end of Dr who on saturday.

Asked if a tribute to Sladen will be featured on the upcoming episode, a spokesperson for Doctor Who told Digital Spy that the show's production team are "planning something suitable".
